W środę 12 czerwca uczniowie z klasy IIa i IIIa pod opieką nauczycieli R.Kmiecik, R. Rdzak, B.Rokosz i J. Szady odwiedzili JuraPark - krainę dinozaurów w Bałtowie. Wędrując szlakiem tych prehistorycznych stworzeń wzbogacili swoje wiadomości na temat ich istnienia.
Uczniowie klas 1c i 2 b byli na wycieczce w Rzeszowie. W Teatrze Maska obejrzeli spektakl pt. „Sklep z zabawkami”. Opowiadał on o niezwykłym, ukrytym w leśnej głuszy sklepie, w którym można znaleźć wszystko to, o czym się tylko zamarzy.
KONKURS JĘZYKA ANGIELSKIEGO DLA KLAS II i III W SZKOLE PODSTAWOWEJ NR1 IM. WŁADYSŁAWA SZAFERA ROZSTRZYGNIĘTY!
W Szkole Podstawowej nr 1 im. Władysława Szafera w Mielcu odbył się Wewnątrzszkolny Konkurs Języka Angielskiego klas II i III. Konkurs cieszył się sporym zainteresowaniem uczniów.

5 czerwca 2013 roku uczniowie klasy IV c z p. wychowawczynią udali się do pracowni gastronomicznej znajdującej się przy Zespole Szkół im. prof. Janusza Groszkowskiego w Mielcu. Uczniowie wzięli udział w zajęciach CARVINGU promujących zdrowy styl odżywiania, a prowadzonych przez członków grupy VITAL GROSZEK, działającej przy tej szkole.
Kalina Rokosz z klasy V B po raz kolejny w tym roku szkolnym zdobyła cenne nagrody. Podczas gali laureatów, która odbyła się 10 czerwca w Wojewódzkim Domu Kultury w Rzeszowie Kalina odebrała II nagrodę za wiersz „Anioł” napisany na IX Podkarpacki Konkurs Poetycki „Ja i Świat”.
Z okazji Dnia Dziecka Samorząd Uczniowski zorganizował KONKURS O PRAWACH DZIECKA. Uczniowie klas IV – VI pracowali w dwuosobowych zespołach i odpowiadali na pytania dotycząca Konwencji o Prawach Dziecka, wymieniali prawa dzieci oraz określali w jaki sposób i gdzie mogą szukać pomocy.
